December 14th week

So far this week it seems we are going to be coding our test game and starting today with the survey so until the week re-cap on friday later!

End of an "electrifying" week

This week turned out to be really confusing and we actually didn't come to school on Thursday {Due to Power Outage}. Today the internet was messed up schoolwide so we only had a few last minutes on the computer so this week is another one to forget. We did get into teams and start coming up with names avatars, so on. Next week is the week before Christmas! ,so Until monday enjoy your weekends!

December 7th Week

I missed this past monday due to me having to wear crutches, so my week starts now. This week i think we are going to get in our teams and start working on some new things, so until friday goodbye

Lights...cold...and buttons

The Christmas season must be here with all these things being in my daily life. We got moving quite fast once Mr. T came back to the class and taught us how to make buttons and it is way easier than i thought! We are finally able to begin making progress as we got put into our teams yesterday and know who we will be working with for the next stretch of months. So for starting out very slow this week I think it ended very well. So with the semester 3/4 of the way finished everything seems to be moving along nicely. See you on December 7th.

Late weekly

THis week I'm very busy and did not get to post on my blog but this week Mr. T is sick and we can do very many things :( so see you at the end of the week.

End of my 2 day week?

This week i came on monday and next thing you know I'm at home for 3 days trying to play a game (and learn). I got to do the professional half done and just finished the student half just now. So for me it was a bad week but from what i hear things will pick up in the next few weeks so I'm excited for this until the 23rd of november bye!

Week of November 16th

This week is the final week for our Playing to learn assignment. So far I have tried professional and student made games so far and i can really see creative ways students try to make games fun. Sometimes they don't work but others i can see some for improvement and fun. So until Friday il be on my mac for the 5 day week...Bye! -xpens87x

November 9th!

This week it seems as yet we are going to keep on improving our flash, wiki, blogging, and social communication skills. Im excited and can really see that this class is going in the right direction. As for already having a game to even test...we just aren't that far yet. (we might have a few ideas in mind though). So thats all I can predict for this week and on friday we can see if i was right in any way!!

End of another week.

This week we all finished our animations and i got it in "my files" on my wiki. It may only be 15 or 20 seconds long but it was a great way to get ourselves familiar with flash. With this behind us the future only holds more round animations and eventually something that can be played (a game). So this brings a good end to a good week of learning. Until November 9th bye!

Week of November 2

This looks a little more like a flash practice week. I think that i might learn something this week that will be fun to do but take a big step towards the making of our game. Not too much else to say really so until friday bye!

The end of this...rather intresting week.

We got done with all of our human figures only to find out that we have to do it all over again next week. As fun is thats going to be, id rather be fine tuning my use of flash but i think Mr. t knows what he's doing. Well this week we did more with a pencil than mighty mouse and as it seems it will be that way next week too!...so till monday with the new exciting agenda...goodbye my readers.

Random accomplishment

Well today i randomly accomplished my first animation! I tried to get it up somewhere so you can check it out but i failed...many times. Kinda like how we all did with the drawing assignment. I did what I could and got 2 and a half pages out, next week will be better! So until i tell you how my week went friday later!

A week of drawing people?

This week we are learning to draw people in a game design class? Well for whatever reason im sure its going to pay off eventually. So maybe if we can get this little adventure with a pencil over and get back to flash! We are finally starting to move and get closer to finished product and maybe along the way learn how to be an artist. Thats it for this monday, and again we have a 4 day week! So check back thursday.

Me, My house, and no mac ):

Well i sit here in my house on a friday that we have no school and i decided to get on here! This week we were messing around in flash at getting a little square box from one side of the screen to the other! [I know i know hold your game of the year awards in the mail for a while]. So based on what we could do in the 45 minute classes we had only 4 times this week,i would proudly say im an expert box thrower in adobe flash! So until next time faithfull reader, adios!

Week of Oct. 19

This week we just started to use flash, and most of it is way easier than i thought it would be. Some things are very simple and some can be difficult until you practice them. So by the end of this short week i hope that i can learn as much as possible with the systems and maybe just maybe by next week have something that moves!!!

software?! when did that happen xP

Well we got our software a few days back and its nice to finally get it! We have played around with everything that we are going to be using, and I'm glad to have our feet moving. I have played many games created by other students and had some "interesting" experiences lol. Well that's all for now till' next time...bye!

This class will be a great learning expirience and I can't wait to get started learn flash and make a game that can be fun while making it educational at the same time. I'm glad that I live in the state that is participating in this class and I will use this as a learning expirience and learn new things everyday!
